Our bakery offers products that may contain peanuts, tree nuts, soy, dairy, eggs and wheat. While we take steps to minimize the risk of cross contamination (cleaning, sanitization and separating the preparation areas, cooking and storage processes of baked goods made with these allergens), we cannot guarantee that any of our products are 100% safe to consume for people with peanut, tree nut, soy, milk, egg or wheat allergies.

At GD Cakes, we make every effort to identify ingredients that may cause allergic reactions for those individuals with food allergies. We have strict policies in place to avoid cross contamination. However, there is always a risk of contamination (we cannot guarantee a total absence of these allergens in shared equipment where items are prepared, washed and sanitized). For this to be a guarantee we highly encourage you to seek an allergy free bakery.

Care instructions

How to handle your sweets with love 

Thank you for taking me on this ride. Please read the following recommendations carefully, as I am delicate and need special handling! 

1. Make sure to transport me in the flattest part of your vehicle, either on the floorboard or if I am riding in an SUV, the flatbed space. Your seats are not a safe place to transport me.

2. Pets and children can be mischievous. Please do try and keep me away from them.

3. Please take me directly to my final destination. Every small bump, every slight curve and every stop can damage me.

4. Maybe I need to be refrigerated; but some sweets or cakes are best enjoyed at room temperature. Please remember to take me out of the fridge at least 3-4 hours before enjoying me with your guests. When selecting my placement at your event, please keep in mind that direct sunlight is terrible for me and I need to stay below 75 degrees. If you are keeping me overnight or for a couple of days, please be sure to keep me refrigerated and follow the instructions above.

Each creation is different, please note to read or ask any questions about the care instructions. They will be happy to help you take care of me.

We deliver from San Juan, PR

If you select delivery service for your convenience while shopping our online selection, during your checkout process a delivery fee will be provided to you. Our online orders with delivery service are delivered between 10am and 4pm Monday through Saturday.

The delivery charge varies according to the delivery area.

Refund Policy

All our orders are made under special request. This is why we do not accept cancellations less than 2 weeks prior to your reservations, orders and/or events.

Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. If after making your reservation you need to cancel or change the date of your order, you must contact us as soon as possible by phone at 787.977.0777. If eligible, you will receive a credit that you can use on your next purchase in a physical or virtual store. The credit will be valid for 6 months from the date of cancellation.

Changes to your order will be accepted between 7 and 14 days before the reserved date and will require our approval. Each order is unique and different so we must evaluate each customer individually.

By order of the Health Department, any order shipped from our location cannot be accepted back for exchange or refund. Therefore, all grocery sales are final.

Any product claim or if you are in any way dissatisfied with the quality of your order upon receipt must be notified immediately or in some cases within 24 hours of receipt of your order. Proof of purchase receipt, photos and in some cases the return of the product will be required so that it can be replaced. You can make your claim through our email ( or immediately at 787-977-0777.

We are not responsible for mishandling of products. Our orders are for consumption the same day. If you need your order for another date, we encourage you to see our care instructions on our website or ask our work team how you should handle your product, they will gladly guide you.
