Our bakery offers products that may contain peanuts, tree nuts, soy, dairy, eggs and wheat. While we take steps to minimize the risk of cross contamination (cleaning, sanitization and separating the preparation areas, cooking and storage processes of baked goods made with these allergens), we cannot guarantee that any of our products are 100% safe to consume for people with peanut, tree nut, soy, milk, egg or wheat allergies.
At GD Cakes, we make every effort to identify ingredients that may cause allergic reactions for those individuals with food allergies. We have strict policies in place to avoid cross contamination. However, there is always a risk of contamination (we cannot guarantee a total absence of these allergens in shared equipment where items are prepared, washed and sanitized). For this to be a guarantee we highly encourage you to seek an allergy free bakery. Customers concerned with food allergies need to be aware of this risk.
GD Cakes will not assume any liability for adverse reactions to food consumed, or items one may come in contact with while eating our products.

Thank you for taking me on this ride. Please read the following recommendations carefully, as I am delicate and need special handling!
1. Hold me from the bottom. Load me into a vehicle with air conditioning.
2. Make sure to transport me in the flattest part of your vehicle, either on the floorboard or if I am riding in an SUV, the flatbed space. Your seats are not a safe place to transport me. Keep the cakes on even surfaces at all times.
3. Pets and children be mischievous. Please do try and keep me away from them.
4. Please take me directly to my final destination. Every small bump, every slight curve and every stop can damage me.
5. When selecting my placement at your event, please keep in mind that direct sunlight is terrible for me. Please keep me away from sun or heat exposure. Take me in a cool and air conditioned environment.
Some desserts need to be refrigerated until serving; each creation is different, please note to ask any questions about the care instructions or see more details in each product description.6. Some cakes may contain structural supports like dowels and wood sticks.
7. Our cakes are for same day serving. If you need your order for next day please let us know for special instructions. Please note storing the cake in the fridge can result in condensation that could damage the final design.
Left overs? If you are keeping me overnight or for a couple of days, please be sure to keep me refrigerated and follow our team special instructions.

All our orders are made under special request. This is why we do not accept cancellations less than 2 weeks prior to your reservations, orders and/or events.
Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. If after making your reservation you need to cancel or change the date of your order, you must contact us as soon as possible by phone at 787.977.0777. If eligible, you will receive a credit that you can use on your next purchase in a physical or virtual store. The credit will be valid for 6 months from the date of cancellation.
Changes to your order will be accepted between 7 and 14 days before the reserved date and will require our approval. Each order is unique and different so we must evaluate each customer individually.
By order of the Health Department, any order shipped from our location cannot be accepted back for exchange or refund. Therefore, all grocery sales are final. Any product claim or if you are in any way dissatisfied with the quality of your order upon receipt must be notified immediately or in some cases within 24 hours of receipt of your order. Proof of purchase receipt, photos and in some cases the return of the product will be required so that it can be replaced. We are not responsible for mishandling of products. Our orders are for consumption the same day. If you need your order for another date, we encourage you to see our care instructions on our website or ask our work team how you should handle your product, they will gladly guide you.
